Sassy! Love this one!

Why do I somehow think this will get Justin's top vote? (Sorry Mom!)

Great copy, great concept! The colors mixed with the MR font feel a little western-y to me, though?

I'm not crazy about the type treatment, but I like the graphic at the top, and I was hoping someone would do a lingerie theme.

Thanks for the comments! I was trying to go for the feel of the old Moulin Rouge posters, which do look a bit western-y. I could make some changes, but I think it's too late now? - deadline is up.

I didn't see anything in the rules about making edits after the deadline, so I changed this a bit. Is the font better? Should I lose the gradient?

Claudette on Jul 13, 2008 at 12:39pm edit delete

After looking at both, I think the original "Ooh la la" was better - a little sassier! To me, the bottom type is a little tough to read - the top of the invite is SO cute, then the fun little poem sort of gets lost in the fray... would it upset the balance of the invite to take out the middle two separators and let the space act as a division instead? (I readily admit that I don't know what I'm talking about - good luck trying to translate the crazy!)

Okay, I changed the Coventry Garden font to Oklahoma - maybe a toned-down version of the original Rosewood "Ooh La La"? I removed the center dividers and increased the invite specs from 4 lines to 5 so that they might be a bit more substantial. Thanks for all the input! Hopefully all the changes are for the better. . .we'll see!

(PS, Carrie, I was so sad to see "Fleur Vows" taken down! Good thing I still have this one!!!)
