How are the colors? Should I simplify anything?

Hi Katie, I really enjoy your style of illustration. I voted for B-- I think the whiteness of the card feels more wintery to me, but the black hat really stand out for New Years. Best of luck!

I like B, but I think it needs a little more contrast to pop so I voted A. You could probably get away with it being a little softer of a teal color, though.

Love it! A makes the illustration really stand out, and it's such a pretty color! : )

I went back and forth on this one – I like that your illustration stands out better in A, but B is a calmer design that allows the photo to stand out just a bit more …I guess I'll go with B because you can still appreciate your illustration, but the photo becomes more of the focus.

The visibility of text is much better in A, so A for me.

B! I don't know why but it has more of a warm and fuzzy feeling to me ;) I might make the background just a touch darker so the type stands out a bit more, but it really is fine this way too :)

Beautiful illustration, nicely done. Maybe play around with a brighter color for the frame

You create some pretty cute characters :) I don't know if this guy needs the die cut? There's a lot going on (not that I think you should simplify the illustration) with type and the graphics, and the tilted photo – all that good stuff might be more easily appreciated with a simple border. Maybe try a poll?
