B...the simpler version so the type doesn't get lost.

I choose B. There some breathing room on outside of border and not so crowded.

I chose B. I like that the typography is the most prominent part of the design, with the border icons as accents. I would consider removing the little bells above the family name. I don't think that you need it and it clutters it up a little bit.

I love B. If you have time I might try just one last version that puts the name vertically centered between the "so well" and the frame, then put the bells on either side of the name (they could be movable elements). This might also give you room to make the top and bottom margins the same as the sides.

A new poll with updates from various feedback I received. Border or no border. I also added the shadow to make the lettering pop. Yay or nay on that? Thanks for all your help!!

I love the borders (A), but I don't think the decorative corners is working as well as the christmas trees. I would maybe try taking them out (just the corner decoration...the little gingerbread men).

I'm not usually a border fan but I think it ties in the vintagey lettering feel really well. I think A could just be simplified a bit more. Maybe you don't need the corner detail? or maybe the corners could just be the dots? And maybe the trees smaller so they're not pulling the focus away from the lettering - or maybe you don't even need them? Just some things to try :) I might also move all the elements up so the border is even on the top and sides which would give the bottom more room for some extra negative space above the name - it's feeling just a little cramped down there.

I think your frame adds a lot to the design so I'm sticking with A – I think you just need to tweak the space at the bottom a bit :)

Border! I like the idea of simplifying it a bit. Also maybe rework the name a bit. It feels a bit crammed down there. Best of luck!

I love the border in A. I would try to scale down the type a little so there is more breathing room between the type and border.

I love your lettering! I agree with Anupama - I'd leave a little space between the letters and border. I also wonder if you need the top text at all (each shining light...). Or the trees on the side. Or the bells in the corner. I say focus on the gorgeous lettering! Maybe move the family name inside the border as well and track it out/use a wider font to have it fill up a larger width. I do like the foil as well :-)

I like B ..I love everything here but a bit I guess I maybe make the line thinner and not too close to the letters or maybe make the letter a bit smaller ?

I like the foil version best. I didn't read the text at the very top or very bottom until I read the inside a couple times. I think you could make the smaller text a little larger and make it feel like it is part of the message.

B for me, I don't know if you need the border on the top and the bottom? I like your silver bell corners, so I'd hate to see them go, but if there's a way you can resolve them without the horizontal parts of the frame you'll have more room for your copy (which seems a little squishy at the bottom right now).
