I would go with A. I'd love to see a simple san serif font greeting & family name below the alligator in this layout. Super cute illustration.

ha! So cute! My eye is really drawn to A. Love all the cool tones. I might just make the name line a bit bigger, or maybe give it some extra tracking so it fills the space a bit more and helps guide the eye down better.
