B for me, I like that you made the points (tree tops) varying heights!

A, I don't think they need to be straight

I definitely prefer A - it seems more like a real heartbeat to me. B seems to symmetrical and I don't know that I would instantly think it was a heart rate monitor rather than just abstract trees.

Hi Kailyn, I chose option B-- on a monitor screen in the hospital, the baseline would be smooth, so I think that would be most accurate for your design. Very clever! Best of luck!

I guess B does work better with the message of health and happiness so I would go with B! And the christmas tree idea stands out even more!

Can you make a variation between the two? B seems too rigid but A seems to varied. Maybe take A and bring the highs and lows down a touch, with the main one being largest, but don't make it a pattern like B. Make sense?

B for me, but I think I'd make your smaller points in between the trees just a little taller.

I like B. it looks like some of the points on the smaller bumps are a little off-center from their bases. I might be careful to even those out (and i like the comment about bringing the small bumps up a little higher). And, as a side note, I live right next to Hopkins!

A. Clean and simple. It's easy to read.

As a health care provider, I would like the rhythm to be more realistic. Its a really cute idea, and would love a card like this. However anyone who knows what they are looking at cardiac wise, sees a patient that is not in good "health." You can place the star on the top of a normal cardiac rhythm and it would be more appealing to your market.

Gorgeous painting! Love the simple take on the type. I might even make the name at the bottom white and in the same font as happy holidays to continue the modern feel throughout.

I voted B for the foil! Super smart and creative design! I might just scale the bottom text down slightly and bump it down a few points closer tot he bottom so it's no so close to the graph. Well done!

I chose A. Very clever Kailyn! What if you tracked your type setting & went down on the font size. May be go 9-10 pt & track it 200-300. See how it looks visually to you :) This is awesome, minimal modern!

This is such a cool idea! I like the non-foil. The foil is pretty, but I don't think it really adds anything to the design that isn't already there. I might play around with a different font for the headline just so it is a little bit different than the hospital name and I would also add more tracking to the hospital name. Just some things to play around with!

This is really fun! I like the pop of foil!, I might even try the star in foil as well. The clean lines of the type also pair really well with the illustration, I might just give it all a bit of extra tracking for some breathing room and better legibility.

Brilliant idea!!! In a real monitor, the peaks of the line would be perfectly spaced left-to-right with the valleys, I hope that makes sense. I think it'd look perfect if you did that. And I'd also suggest increasing the tracking on the text (but I always think that looks better so maybe it's just me!).
