Thanks everyone for joining in this time-consuming choice. As always, I have got many helpful feedback and warm comments. Actually the result of the poll was a neck and neck race..("A"got just a little more votes) I should have tried another polls of the letterings for "joy". Having said that, after practicing many "joy", I changed the letter of "J" and redesigned like the line of "joy" tangling of Prancer's antler. Hope you all love updated one.

I think this "Joy" adds just the right amount of whimsical to this card (option C)

Looks like you've got a close race. I went with D, but I still think you could play around with the placement of Joy a bit. Maybe centered, could be smaller …I don't know, it just still feels a little unresolved.

nice updates! I chose B, but it's really a tough decision for me between B and D...I really like the composition on D, so unique and pretty.

Lovely design. I prefer the negative space created by Joy on D. Wondering what it might look like if you added a tail on the y that came back into the frame.

I voted for D but I really love seeing more of the watercolor deer in A. I wonder if there is a way to do a similar placement of the "joy" on D on A? Hope that makes sense!

I'm loving option A! Everything just seems balanced in this option.

This is so awesome and different! I went with D though I might bring the names down just a few more nudges. Also maybe try bringing the dear more up into the design like A but flipping him so his tush is on the right?

I chose B but also like D. I like how Joy fills the space well in B and is still easy to read.

I like seeing the body of the deer. Option A for me.

I like B, but I really like A with the JOY worked out in a different layout. It's nice to see the whole dear. Beautiful.

I love the offset JOY in D, but I might see how it looks moving the reindeer to the right a bit... Or perhaps try the deer from A but flip it so his body balances on the right. :)

I absolutely love this design. I chose option C – I felt that it was the most balanced. I would buy this!

Lisa on May 18, 2016 at 10:18am

Like more of the deer on the page, perhaps move the word joy up and at angle

I think B feels the most balanced. But I like that you can see more of the deer in A also.

Stunning design. I chose A. I like that there is a lot of white space around Joy.

I am torn between option C or option B. I like how you can see the word Joy (unobstructed) in both. Tough choice!

really pretty watercolor and font choices, but the Joy does get lost in the deer...What if it didn't overlap so much, or even at all? You could try moving it up into the white space and making it a little smaller.

Agree it looks artistic to mingle up letters and the antlers, but I think for clarity they need to be separated :), great work, loving it

Your style really shows through in your work – simple and understated, beautiful! I agree with the comment that you may want to move the Joy up off the antlers, possibly reducing its size.
