I'm new to hand lettering and did this with my wacom and stylus. Thoughts? Is it too sloppy? Thanks!

Hi Carole ... Love your illustration! Your hand lettering is pretty good, but I would rethink the layout. I'm not a fan of placing text directly on top of an illustration. Maybe curve it around the top of the figgy pudding (?). Right now it's also a bit disconnected.

Beautiful illustration! I think your writing looks nice but may I suggest moving "good" up and horizontal instead of tilted? The G on "tiddings" seems a little bit off to me as well
