B: I like the capitalized G in "greetings". Balances out the all-caps "golden state" for me :)

B for me. If this were mine I would have the "Greetings....state" text all in 1 font size or you could try "Greetings from the" in a serif font in italics & the Golden State text all caps,10 pt 200 or 300 tracking, see whichever looks better. Lastly, have the family name in the serif/italicized text. Good luck,I love your pattern!

B. I would maybe change the family font to italics as suggested.

B for me, I like the 'Golden State' greeting better in this alignment and it gives plenty of space for the family name!

I chose B. I think that adding "family" balances out the design with the state, and I do prefer it to be on one line and in caps.

The foil state is so pretty! I love the transparency of B, but I'm wondering how it'd look if you rework the layout to vertical... perhaps have the state smaller and overlapping the top of a photo and balancing it with text below? Just a thought! :)

i think A would accommodate more customers photos but maybe try and scale down the foil state to give it a bit of room :)

LOVE! But I think it would be better to not use a script - maybe a more decorative sans serif?

Such a cool idea! Like the delicate cutout feel in B. Prefer the placement of your text in option A, maybe make 'greetings from the Golden State' also in Brandon.

A for me. I think the intricacy of the foil design gets lost in the background of a full bleed photo..

I think the foil over the photo will require a certain kind of photo. So I picked, which also highlights the foil. You could also try making it smaller and putting it over the photo, but I think that also requires modifying the design a lot.

I picked A for photo versatility but I like the delicacy of the foil state in B. I agree with Jennifer in trying to scale down the foil state to balance out with the "white" space as opposed to consuming the "white" space.

I like A best and would you consider the state in solid gold? I think it might be fun to see it in a simpler way. I do love all your swirls though. :)

I chose C and I would also recommend bringing all the text over to the left and that you add a solid background color. This way the design will work with more photos. Very cool pattern inside the state shape!

I like C! I think your state is so ornate (that rhymes :) that you don't want to have attention taken away from it with the blue strips. Do you think you could get away with rotating the state so that the top right edge would run parallel to the copy? Just a thought …a cartographer would have me shot (another rhyme!)
