About the Design

comments from Katarina:

I have been inspired by my partners late grandmother, who was a screenprinter back in the 60s and 70s. She used graph paper to cut out her designs that were based on squares and triangles.

Would be grateful for your thoughts on two added options; one on kraft card, one on grey. I have also reworked the scarf on one of them and tried a couple of different font options. (The original design was on white background with a different font). Thank you!

I love the revision! Have you tried a die cut for this design? I think it may look great in a circle cut out so the fox is still the main focus but a little more playful

What about a dark background? I'm not sure the kraft paper makes it pop. It's such a great illustration. I also like the idea of trying one of the diecuts.

Thank you all for the feedback, this has been really helpful! I have created a poll with a couple of more options - one on kraft card, one on grey. I have also reworked the scarf one one of them and tried a couple of different font options. Would be grateful for your thoughts!

I like the way you reworked the scarf, but I'm still a big fan of the kraft paper! I like your original typeface too, you might want to add a small stroke (.1 or so) to the company name so it doesn't disappear against your background :)

I like the type in A. This also looks nice on the kraft background.

A. I have an easier time reading the text. Cute fox!

I prefer A. The typeface in B is a little hard to read.

That fox is perfectly pixelated! The scarf shape is sitting a little funny with me – I think the shape could be simplified just a bit. Also, your company name looks like it could use a bit of a stroke to beef it up just a bit.

Great font choices. I love the white background, but I could see it being nice on kraft paper or a medium grey. Maybe you should try a few background color options and take a poll.

Cute design! I would play with the font for the greeting and maybe make it more square to match the fox rather than rounded and flowy. A poll for fonts would be great! I agree that the background color could look neat as Kraft paper as well
