A. I like the more delicate weight of merry. I would center the family name, though, like in B. :)

A: I think the thinner text complements the border best. I think B would work better if the photo were full bleed off the sides as I feel that's where the thicker text competes with the rest of the card.

The photo on A is made for a design like this but the family on B is more appealing to me.

I like B! Though maybe bring the type at the bottom down a bit more?

ha! I can't spot the difference ;) I do think the spacing of the words around the y is still a bit off - maybe move them out a bit so there's more breathing room around the y?

A for me! I agree wth Dawn about the spacing... would it work at all to stack "little everything" rather than try to fit it around the Y?

I looked at this for a few, at first not sold on the white rectangle. The more I look the more I like, it's not a common choice but works with the white border, this photo and typography.

Gorgeous! I might make the "little everything" a point or two smaller so there's more room around little. I also love the name in the box at the top. I might just double check that the border is at least as big as the safety margin. Those small borders can get so hard to look nice in final production since it's possible there would be some shift when they're trimmed.

This feels so perfectly balanced to me. Beautiful type, and I love the outside border. The only suggestion I might make is that my eye seems to want "The Macphersons 2016" centered in the white box. Lovely!

I think that the words pop most against the dark background. Cute!

I love the design! Very simple and elegant, and yet fun. I went with option C because i like the color palette of the photo. However, Option D was a close second. Great job and good luck in the challenge!

i like C but i'd play with the placement of the family name. it feels a bit disconnected to me. good luck :)
