Love the revision, this maintains a soft new born feel and still feels dynamic, too.

The background is too busy and will be challenge for different types of photo. You can try a more subtle monochromatic tones.

It is a bit busy but it is really fun. I think I might try it all in the blue and green tones with maybe just a few pops of the yellow. I love the noel type. Maybe make the frame around the image solid white as well so you can see the great painted edges? I might also try a version with the white text a bit bigger and moved to the center of that space - then put the "our first chrismas.." line above the image in the white frame and the "with love..." below the image in the frame.

Hi Cynthia, the photo is so beautiful but I think it's competing with the background... the colors are too strong, have you tried different color?

voted A, but maybe without the trees. I do like the white font in version B.

Have you tried a version with the image at the top bleeding off the card and the patterned background and text on the bottom half? May help the design feel less busy.

A reads best for me. The green text at the bottom gets lost for me in B. Ditto trying it without the tree given the colorful background pattern. I almost didn't see it at first glance.

I like the text in white, helps to call it out.

the background is cool, Cynthia. There is a lot going on so maybe the christmas tree and graphic to the left are unnecessary. The name/year feel like they could be better incorporated with the other text. : )

I like the colors and the pattern that you used, but the graphics overlapping the white frame seems a bit lost for me. Maybe you could try just having the text on the frame. Also, maybe you could try another font for the "our first..." part, to make it more readable and to separate it from your main greeting.

Fun background, it doesn't quite read Christmas to me. Maybe try playing with colors a tad
