I submitted this same general design last year which scored fairly high but didn't get a pick so I'm trying it again. I submitted it last year with the "" in foil but I kind of like the scalloped border in foil instead, thoughts? Also open to any general feedback, TIA!

Thanks everyone for the comments about the drop shadow. I changed the photo and nixed the drop shadow!

The border in foil is very cute. What about having the text in a circle around the outside of the photo instead of in three stacked lines at the bottom? It might allow you more room for the sorts of typical baby stats people like to include (weight, length, time of birth), and it would leave more of the photo uncovered.

The scalloped border is very appealing. Do you need the drop shadow? Seems the white text would read well without it and on the name it is a little distracting. : ) Best of luck this year, Jenna, it is a sweet submission!

Hi Jenna, the foil scallop is very heavy. I. Feel like the text with the drop shadow is a bit to heavy with the delicate scallop.

This is really sweet. I think the thin scallop border is really pretty and I love the sentiment. The type and shadow feel almost too heavy for the delicateness of the rest of the design though.

love your concept! maybe you can try removing the drop down shadow on the fonts. Best of luck on your design!

I think the scalloped border goes very well with the card shape. I would remove the drop shadow though. overall though is a nice design and great composition!

I like the foil border, but not sure you need the black shadow behind the type... Hope this helps! best of luck!
