Any suggestions on layout & color scheme? I wanted to keep it simple but don't want it to seem generic.

Not sure if you're working in a slight play on words here, or if I'm just reading on into it – but it's great! There are some parts that seem just on the verge of being washed out, maybe a slight stroke (or increasing the stroke) on the letter forms would help that?

I think this looks really nice. If possible I might bring down the word what to compliment savior a little better. I'm also wondering what this looks like with a photo that's not white at the top. I don't think you should change it but I would make sure it works with several photo options.

I think the colors are great but I would bring down the text on the top a bit.

This design is great! I agree the top looks like it's fading out at the bottom of the text a bit - have you tried fading into another color, instead of white?

Great use of Lovepen! Have you tried reducing the size of the photo slightly? That might give you more room at the top so you can scoot the type down a bit.

Hey Jen, It definitely does not seem generic :) I Agree Lisa and Olivia that you could try bringing the type down just a little bit for balance. Otherwise I think it looks really clean and cute!

I didn't see previous versions, but I like the colors. I think the red looks really nice on the more delicate font. The composition is nice and I like the font choices.

Hi Jen, I agree the top looks like it's fading out at the bottom of the text a bit. With the top being so festive, I kind of want to reduce the size of the family name a point size. Just a thought. Good luck

I agree that the photo shouldn't have white at the top because you lose the edge and the border. I like the heading a lot.
