Is this too simple? Should I add more design elements or is the simplicity a good thing to keep?

I love this and its simplicity. I feel like the box could be a bit closer to the text on the top and bottom or maybe the leading in the verse a few points larger but trust your gut this really is lovely.

I don't think it's too simple at all but I do think that either the text needs to be bigger in the box or the box needs to be smaller. I wonder if you used a different shaped box that hugged the text a little better so there's less white space in there. Just an idea. :)

I love simple! I would increase the leading slightly and maybe increase the size a couple points but I like having it pretty open and airy.

Simple is good. I think you could increase the leading juuuuust a little bit to give the lines more room to breathe. Have it tried it without the box even? Or maybe just a smaller box, as others have suggested. You want it to work with as many different photos as possible.

I actually love the simplicity. I agree with Dawn about the leading in the verse, just to give everything more breathing room, but overall I think you've done a really nice job.

Love the simplicity! I would consider making it even more simple, by somehow incorporating the family name within the gold box. Great job!!

Hi Jen, I'd make the box smaller, just to open it up for a wider variety of customer photos. Simplicity is always good (note to self! ; )

Love the simplicity! Maybe give a little more space between each sentence? That might give the text a little more breathing room.

This feels like 2 designs in 1. I might save the bottom half for the general holiday challenge and Keep the top half - just have the family name centered along the bottom?
