Elizabeth, this is a great start! Your type is very fun, and your colors choices pair well with the photo you've chosen. A couple of thoughts: You might want to enter this in the religious Christmas card challenge (which closes this morning), because of the scriptural passage. Also, I feel like you don't need the scalloped die cut - it seems to distract from the other great elements of your design. Good luck!

I agree with Little Words Design, you don't need the scalloped die cut. with he elements already in the design, it's too busy--a plain straight cut card might be best. However, the overall composition works well. Awesome design!

I agree, but if you are set on the die-cut, I would change the red border to echo the die cut shape to tie it in. Best of luck!

Really cute! My only small suggestion would be to make "glory" the same size as "peace" so that it feels more balanced.

This is really fun. I think I would simplify as much as you can. Maybe change glory to joy, then the bottom could say "and peace"?

I echo everyone's else comments. I'd actually like to see a version of your design with a different message, since the contests were separated a more classic holiday message here might fare better.
