Hi Kim, I missed the poll but like your decision. If you have time, maybe take the re Joy ce idea a little deeper, maybe have JOY in a different font and add some design elements to tie in the re/ce. The photo choice is perfect, I didn't get this one and wish I had! : )

Hi Kim, I'd like to see your original concept with REJOYCE moved over to the foil challenge. I think it would really pop there. And I would kill the "in the lord" and let the foil and type stand on its own, maybe try a heavier face or a serif. Just my two cents here.

I must have missed the poll but I LOVED the "reJOYce" spelling. Either way it's a beautiful, simple design.

for this challenge, i love it just the way it is. beautiful and simple. id add a stroke to the script font so it reads a tad heavier. but i think it is perfectly simple as is.

A is beautiful. I'm thinking save the other yellow concept for the main challenge & use a more playful photo? (Take out "In the Lord) Or even submit it to this challenge as a different concept.

I'm leaning A. I do like "reJOYce" and that treatment but only if you had just that word. When you have "in the Lord" and all one color it doesn't feel as playful so that's why I'd go with the correct spelling here.

Don't hate me... The miss spelling of rejoice, although very creative, doesn't jive with me personally. I think the design would still be lovely and appeal to more people if you spelled it correctly. I chose B. But make sure you get more opinions on this...

I like the Rolling pen but maybe not the glyph in the letter "I" but everything else is awesome.

Ah! I can't decide. I think the foil would be a pain to keep registered but if you're going with faux foil it does look really pretty.

Well I didn't mean to make you futz with it this much! ;) I kind of really love how that j is descending though. Have you tried aligning in the lord closer to the j or does it feel off?

Love this Kim! So fun! I might play with the kerning in rejoyce a bit. Everything feels just a little uneven - j is always a tough one!
