This is so pretty! I almost don't even think it needs the date in there.

I love it, Chris! The white against that blue is just so sharp - and plays off that photo really nicely too!

B. I would keep the type under the illustration all in white.

I voted B, and I agree with keeping both lines of text at the bottom in white. Love C, also.

I will go with A, because i love the photo here. I would prefer the navy background over white. I think photo of A and navy + foil will look great

Hi Chris! Sorry I meant more white space as padding. Have you tried it with a single border? I love the blue bg from A - it has texture. Maybe silver foil? I would also consider scaling up Hallelujah! without the tiny text to fill that space?

I voted C. For some reason the imagery wasn't clear to me until I saw it in that color way. I love all the detail!

Loving C -- white background. Try a much simpler photo with the white. Maybe even a b/w photo. That way the illustration is the star of the show : ) Gorgeous work, Chris!

I still love A the best! I like the texture of the blue background. I think someone suggested silver - that may actually work a little better with the blue if foil wins (not to complicate things for you! It's so lovely, it would all work I'm sure!).

A, shows off the beautiful illustration. I can't put my finger on it, but I feel like the border needs more padding around the illustration? Oh oh oh! Idea!! Illustration in foil on white bg or blue?!?!

Beautiful, Chris! A for me. It feels more "nightly" for the star and the illo definitely pops more.
