comments from Agi:

My daughter was the inspiration behind this design. I thought back to when she was 5 —she is now 15— and thought of what her favorite things were. Pink, glitter and Mommy's shoes. Original illustration ~ created by Agi.

I revised the design according to all the helpful feedback everyone provided... thank you! As a result I have ended up with a few options. Which one do you prefer?

A for me, I would use different font for 'jessica...' just to differentiate from the top.. =D

I love the direction you took this! I can't decide between C and D, I might add a small stroke (like .1 or .5) to the quicksand text as it feels a little hard to read at the preview size, but other than that I think this looks wonderful!

I think if you're going to use the same font for the first two lines, it helps to have some distance between them. Otherwise, I think having the two lines of frilly font on top of each other feels congested and cluttered. I also like C for the cleanliness.

I picked A - I like the way the strings on "Jessica is turning five" mimic the strings of the balloons and feel the the placement of the "Growing up so fast" is best positioned below her feet.

absolutely love this! I don't think the text is too wordy. You need that information.

Really cute. I agree, is not wordy. Maybe try a version without the pink balloon behind "turning".

Love this!! The only thing I would consider changing slightly are the flourishes before and after "she is turning 5" ... I would definitely keep them there, just tweak them slightly so they are not so similar to the balloon string!

Maybe you can change it to "Growing up so fast' and then "Jessica is turning five" That might sound a little smoother.

What little girl does not love to play dress-up? This is a wonderful illustration, Agi. Was wondering how it would look if you divided the lines of script text? I had an idea and it was easier to create than try to explain. This is just a thought, your design is awesome as is. I haven't added an image before and am not completely comfortable doing so. Since we are becoming friends, and you know I love your work, I'm giving this a try.

Text is not too wordy, just too close to the bottom.
