Hmm.. I really liked the first set of blue's a lot better. I might go back to the kraft. Or maybe try this dark blue as the background?

It didn't look good on a dark background. I'm actually happy with the Kraft and blues but people wanted to see a color background.

I like the kraft with the blues--it reminds me of the sand and sea. Either way, the illustration is great!

Love the invitation! Would like to see the background as maybe a deep navy tone rather than a sand color

Your ship is perfect, and the type placement is working really nicely within it! Maybe the "Ahoy Matey" is competing with your illustration for attention? Could be worth trying a more low-key type treatment for that and seeing what you think.

This is so much fun! Love the illustration. Have you tried it on a different background? The Kraft is okay but it might stand out better on a solid color. I'm also finding the "let's" above celebrate to be a little awkward. Maybe make it the same type as celebrate and match the angle? l
