I agree with Carolee...the type in A looks a bit more readable and the wording in B emphasizing the child's name but still keeping with the theme works best. Such a cute design!

so cute! I'm wondering if you don't even need the "it's so" at the top, then you could move everything up a bit and put the "is turning one" in the same type treatment as A. Or put it's so on the same line as great so you could make it a little larger with less r's like the first one? I do like the small caps treatment for the body copy a little better than the other one too.
