final attempt to get the screen color to match the native file color. I'm pretty close this round.

I toned down the red, do you think it was too much? Do the pinwheels still pop now or do they feel flat?

did some tinkering with the center copy so it would look more balanced left to right, and with the color, although it still doesn't reflect the deep red here.

I love this - beautifully balanced and you have such a great handle on type. I feel the red is a tad strong though? it's a lovely shade of red, but it feels like it's overpowering the design a bit.

The only thought I have is to maybe make the red a hair less vibrant, it's a little tough on the eyes for me.

Hi Ladies, thanks so much for taking the time to comment on my design. Based on what PD wrote, I also created a white-background version attached. What do you think of this one? Like it better?

Carol, I like this color version best and LOVE the pinwheels. I don't know that you need the color on either side? i wonder what it would look like if the names were the yellow/gold from the pinwheel? i would also add a comma after bride. great job!

Hi carol. Great pinwheels. I might try the same blue from your banner as the pinwheel blue rather than the babyblue you have to tie together better. I also would like to see it without the edge color, just an all red background. I like the red rather than the white unless you made the white version have more red and blue (Americana) type colors for the elements. Does this make sense. Sorry I'm rambling.

I think the drop shadow is okay! Great pinwheels! I like how you divided the text at the bottom. Not sure how I feel about the all caps and lower case being mixed so much, or that script font. I think this may look better with a sharper sans serif than the rounded Quicksand? Also, I think I would prefer the color on the sides to be the same color - I'm liking the light blue b/c the banner is blue.

i agree with kim about the upper and lower case. i really like the pinwheels and how you placed the bottom text. I think the couples names could stand out a little more and I'm not sure you need the red background. It's a little overpowering.
