Going with B...the white makes them stand out more. I think they also add a white trim around all art by default, at least Minted always does.

Im not sure if I LOVE the pink shade for the background color, but i definitely feel like it needs the bordered block of color. Love design!

I think the border makes it seem finished.

B for me. I do like the boarder on A. I like how the birds pop on B.

Personally, I think this looked better with the white background. I would also get rid of the borders around the names, center-align them under the birds, and add some tracking :)

Gorgeous! I love your style! I'll say with name...just because of the target audience...and/or maybe do a poll to see which gets more votes?

I like the graphical treatment of each bird but I do somewhat miss the rest of the body (tail feathers, feet). Having that white space underneath may work with the names as you're thinking...can you try a version with names?

Hi! If I were you, I would add the bird names. I think that might add to the piece!

I think yes! and I say yes to the poll idea! I'd like to see it both ways.

i'd say, name them! i agree with eric's feedback, regarding the way they're cropped, and that adding text beneath them will most likely work great with the composition. really cool graphic rendition of the birds!

It's hard because I feel like the name would get in the way of the clean simple look. Part of me wants to see this submitted as each bird on it's own paper. The bird would "bleed" off each lower left corner and then you wouldn't need a name and let the clean design do the talking. They would look nice in square OR rectangle format. Just my 2-cents!

Love it! This might be somehow wild but what if the rest of their bodies would be "made out" of their names?

I love this! I would ad the names, since the birds are cropped it feels incomplete and the names would round it out.
