About the Design

comments from Natalie:

This adorable print of a mother owl sheltering her baby is perfect for any nursery. The print is scanned from an original work composed of chalk pastels and ink on paper (owls), scrapbook paper (leaves and branch), and acrylic paint (tree background).

What do you think of this composition? Would you tweak anything?

I think the black border brings out some of the color that's hidden in the picture - it makes it a bit bolder.

I like no border the best. Very cute!

I chose A. The background has a lot of detail already. Adding the border goes overboard, in my opinion.

such a beatiful painting...Going with A, the color borders overwhelm the overal composition...maybe also try a border less version without the top leaves around the owls...if possible.

I voted A because I think it'll probably be framed once purchased and you won't need the border. Very nice!

I like no border but I would certainly frame it with a black frame!
