comments from Jeanine:

This fun 1-photo birth announcement features an illustration of a sweet elephant landing his hot air balloon to announce your little one's arrival in a whimsical way. Rounded corners and a fresh color palette give this a contemporary feel.

Any feedback welcome! Any thoughts on the hand-lettered tag "Announcing the Arrival"? And size of the illustration? Still a bit of a newbie-many thanks! :)

I prefer the softer look of B. With A that extra border makes the dot outline seem off, well, at least to me. Love the illustration!

I chose A, and love the design. However, have you considered making the blue box to the left have the same color around the entire balloon and not including the border around the photo? I think that would help it look even and consistent al the way around. Nice job!

Hi Jeanine! Love the elephant / hot air balloon illustration! As a suggestion have you consider the text in grey over the black. I think it might help soften things up a little.

This is so creative, I love it! The only bits that stand out to me are "announcing the arrival of" -- I almost feel like you could get rid of it and it wouldn't take anything away. As well as the dotted border. Maybe try without one or the other?

Thanks so much, Megan—great feedback. I've tried 2 revised versions, with the "Announcing..." line reduced and in a lighter grey to soften it as well as a version totally without....going to update and poll both new versions...
