I picked A - the balance of the spotlight shape in B just doesn't quite work for me.

B, but I'm not sure the triangle on the top left is necessary.

It looks like I'm in the minority, but I like the slanted photo overlay of B. I feel like it frames the text best.

I prefer Option B. The spotlight feel highlights the photo whereas option a looks like an arrow pointing to the text information. If I were to purchase this type of card I'd want the subject highlighted since the text is already large and stands out on its own.
