Would a thicker font be more appropriate so it doesn't blend in with the stripe?

I would say yes here. Also, maybe even a matching goldish/brownish color on the font to match the stripe. I would say take the eye dropper tool and try to pick up a color from the darker areas of the foil clipping mask and try to get the font to stand out, but match at the same time. If that doesn't work, maybe a darkish blue to match her dress. I hope that helps!

If you like the style of the font you could always play with the weight of the outline, bump it up a little. It is a hard read on top of the photo but I think it would work with a tiny amount of tweaking.

I would say yes, or increase the size, or maybe even choose a different color. Something to make it pop against the background photo. Lovely design overall, though!

Yes, I think a thicker font is required as it is a little hard to read. Using a black and white photo might also help to make your lovely design elements pop.

Yes. While this font is nice, it is getting lost because the stripe is so bold. I would recommend using a bigger, bolder font. Hope that helps!

Definitely, add some weight and contrast to the type so it can stand out better! The gold frame is beautiful!

I love the stripe but I really, really can't see the bottom text. A thicker font would work or possibly just make it slightly larger. Otherwise, looks awesome! :)
