About the Design

comments from Leanne:

A formal and type focused design, lightly includes that "something blue" with a formal monogram to highlight the new families last name.

Is the design too simple? Feedback on the type is also welcome!

I don't think it is too simple - very classically formal and elegant - but perhaps the line could be a pop of color or foiling?

I don't think it's too simple! I would spell out thirteenth though, but that's personal preference!

Ooh I like it! Very classic. I don't think it's too simple! I am a little confused by the icon at the top (is it religious?) - maybe a simpler version of it somehow? (Maybe it's just me though!) Agree with Panda and Pangolin's comment about trying the line in foil, I think that could be really pretty!

I love simple elegance, the only thing i would suggest is enlarging the illustration/monogram a bit. It seems quite detailed but hard to see, but of course this is not actual size and I don't know proportionally if it should be much bigger -- sorry that didn't really help ;). Maybe a slightly different, but classical type on the names to set them apart.

I think the white space on A is lovely. I also think the smaller emblem works well.

I like the simplicity of A. The border line is perfectly sized against the monogram.

I do like the smaller symbol at the top. I think it would be nice to see small on B and C (& possibly the gold foil as thick as the blue border on B).

Also, feedback about the typography would be appreciated!
