Is this too childish for a wedding invite?

I don't think it's too childish! Every couple is going for something different :) I do think, though, that the number of typefaces, weights, and colors are competing with each other a bit. All of the ext is exactly the same width as well, so it feels like something needs to break it up. Can't wait to see how it turns out!

I don't think it's childish, but is very casual. I would play with the kerning of the bride and groom names, as they seem a little cramped.

Different couples love different styles! I agree that the typefaces are kind of competing with each other. One idea could be to make the names bigger and on separate lines (maybe with the plus sign in the middle?) in one font and have the bulk of the info below it with a different font?

Hi Courtney, I like where you're going with this design and believe it would appeal to couples who are going with a bright and cheery wedding style. Agreed with the rest that the fonts are complimenting each other. Might I suggest replacing one of your narrow fonts with a font with a broader width?

I think this is a fun design and agree with the typefaces and colors competing with each other.

No, I don't think it is childish. It has a fun, casual feel. I love the mingling lines on the side for decoration. I think that because the colors are so bold, you might want to think about narrowing down the font types a bit. Like some of the other commenters said, they do seem to be competing.

I also don't think that it's childish. I would recommend playing with the fonts and colors a bit. While I love the colors you used, I think in some areas, the contrast isn't high enough to read the text as well as it could. I think that some of the fonts and colors paired together are also a little bit confusing for the eye...keep playing with it - it's a great design!
