I don't think it's plain, but have you experimented with varying the height of the circles or adding just a little bit of color (too much might overwhelm things, given how complex the pattern is)?

Not at all. I love the detail! I'm thinking to give the piece more balance, you should move some of the medallions closer to the top of the building.

I actually think this is full of detail and intricacy and is definitely NOT too plain - nice work!

I totally agree with many of the other commentators. This design is beautiful, but I would vary the heights and sizes of the circles and give it more height.

I chose D, although I do like A and C. the blue popped the most to me. I don't think it's too plain because at eye level, there will be a lot of texture and interest for a pedestrian to look at. If you wanted more movement, you could always lift a circle up and out from the bottom.

I still like the white one due to its simplicity. But the blue is strking as well!

I picked B but green is my favorite color so I'm probably biased!
