ohhh! great! This is great. the background color and the adding the white is perfect! Now I really think the colors work and it does not feel heavy any more. Also I like that you gave Sally&Brad some more space. super minor detail... i might give the Y and & just a teeny bit more. Just so the space with the y and & feels as nice as the space between the & and B. Again just a teeny detail. Great job!!!

i really like the saturated colors, i think the background is a little stark though . I liked 2birdstones idea of a dark background with lighter dots and would be interested to see what that would look like.

I think the colors from version 7 were nice and it also represents girl/boy.

So much easier to read, I think this is working quite well.

I really like the design but I have to agree with Christina. I like the colors in version 7 better. the colors now feel heavy I might even go for simplifying Sally & Brad a little. It feels a little cramped compared to the rest of the invite.

Super cute idea! I think I prefer the peachy/tealy colorway, but that's just personal preference. One wee thing, though: "calendar" is spelled incorrectly. ;) Good work!

The layout and concept is great! I would definitely keep working on the colors though. These are all so similar and ultra light in tone that it's much too hard to read (think of grandparents) and looks "flat." I'd try out more rich colors instead and maybe even reverse out the white so the background is a color and the dots are white.

Such a cute concept, I like these colors better. I think it makes it a little less cliche and adds extra sophistication.

i love the subdued colors... but I think the pastel blue & pink is making it feel like a baby announcement. I would try some other colors in this same palette (or just switch the pink out)?

I love the story board. Only question would be why is he in all caps and she in sentence casing? I know the script font of the she wouldn't work in all caps but maybe try the he is sentence casing as well. Great design, flow and concept.

So cute and so creative (reminds me of a popular invite on Pintrest but with more design). My only thought is this: What if you had the ampersand match one of the names (buttermilk or baskerville) or made it a little more decorative - like Georgia Italic, or something like that? Just thought, and is so lovely as is!

I like the playfulness of your design & the limited color palette. I think maybe you could simplify it a bit by a little less mixing of typefaces in some places. I like the type differences in the names, one girly, one more masculine, but I think maybe in the circles that you don't need to do that. You could just stick with the sans-serif type in every circle & do all caps on the 'HE' & 'SHE'. Maybe also scale down the text size in the circles just a tad so it's not so close to the edge? This would be a fun Save the Date!!
