I really like the art deco look - I think the font and the framed name are right on. The border seems a little jagged compared with the swirl frame - maybe using half-circles instead of the triangles would fit better. Also - you could try switching the color on the edges so that the border is gold with black lines. It might provie a bit of contrast. You could also make the center of the invite gold with black borders - it would probably make the text easier to read.

Hi Sarah! Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I tried the half-circles, but it looked a little too round-y, and I tried changing the colors on the borders and in the center, but it didn't look right to me. I'm glad you made those suggestions, though, because something about the design was bothering me, as well. The process of making the changes finally led me to removing the background. I think I like the elegance of the gold on white a lot better. Thank you again - you really did help me!
