comments from Kate:

I made the colors punchy and tropical, fitting for a Florida wedding. The design plays off of Andrea and Fernando's "Hip, fun and modern" style.

This would make such a great Save-the-Date, too. Very versatile design; I can see lots of uses for it! Cute!

Ooooh I like! I agree with Claudette this design would also make a great save the date card. Really cool WTG :)

Nice design, though I am curious to see how you would handle November 8 or October 4. :)

Kelly on Jul 8, 2008 at 1:11pm edit delete

yes... it would just be harder for the designers to layout.... but as a custom job, very nice.

Nice. One of my theories is "Go Big & Go Red" and it works. :-D

I thought a lot about laying out November 8, etc. I would abbreviate the month "November" to "NOV" and the info would be placed in the diagonal (center part) of the number. It actually still works quite well. If placing the info in the number didn't work, it could always be placed in one of the letters of the month. I think the purpose of this design is to act as a calendar page for the guests of the party. I wanted to it be an immediate reminder of the date. Thanks for your nice comments!

Hmmm... I really love this one... but maybe for a less important day than a shower... like a fun brunch... Very modern though

This one is classic Pixie Stick - original, modern, and clean. Great job! :)

So cool! Won't work for all dates as suggested below, but will work great for some.

I love all of Pixie Stick designs. Very innovative, fun, yet a style that is sophisticated and timeless. Really the best I've seen on "Minted".
