Very cute design! If your'e still open for suggestions, I would try to increase the curve of the cake text a bit

Christy on Sep 10, 2015 at 8:08pm

I love this design, but I agree with another commenter. The year on the to tier of the cake reads weird to me as well.

I love the script on the cake in B. It complements the whimsical aesthetic you have going. Love the edits!

I like A, the font is easier to read and complements the design better.

Great illustrations! I really like B - the script font, it looks like it was written with icing!

My eye was drawn to A first because I read it more clearly, so I say A although I don't think you could go wrong with either.

Really hard decision! I chose B because I like how it relates back to the "and".

I chose B because I like the script with your illustrations. It reads a little awkward to me though. What if you put the couple's initials on the top tier and added the year with the date?

I'm going with A as I think the bold font goes better with the overall weight of the design, but as a suggestion, for the cake, I'd put the type on a curve to follow the arc of the cake layers ;) Lovely design with great detail!

I picked B - I like the sans serif but the script just feels more natural on the cake.

B for me, but both are fabulous. I think the script ties in all of the details so well but also stands out a bit more.

I love the flow of B. Though I almost want a tad more white space around the edge? Just a thought! Lovely work!

i like B but i think everything could be scaled back just a bit. also, have you tried the text on the cake along a curved path in a script... maybe rolling pen (so it would "match" the curve of the cake)?!?! might be a nice little touch :)

They are both great Katie, but the square stands out so well with the larger elements.
