Hi Mintees, This is my first Mint submission and I had no idea if I was supposed to make up the copy text? I am going to upload my vector idea which looks nothing like this one and hope to hear back from someone for my first attempts... thanks Renee

Welcome to Minted, Renee. You do make up your own copy but Minted provides photos for you to use in the submission kit. You should be able to download it at the top of the challenge page if you haven't already. There is also a font list available at http://www.minted.com/designer-font-list?it_category=n_participate&it_id=c3i2 Can't wait to see your vector idea!

Hi, Renee. I don't think there's any problem using your own photos as design elements, like you did here. If you were to include a mock engagement photo, then you would need to use one from the submission kit (the idea being that people should judge the design, not the quality of a photo that will ultimately be switched out by the customer anyway). Does that make sense? There are more detailed instructions in the submission kit PDF and on the designer FAQ page. Good luck!
