I love the simplicity of this and yet your lines create depth and texture. well done.

I've chosen option B because I really like the square composition + the background texture there. But I also very like colours in A version. Maybe try to add some delicate texture to A version, just to check what happens? P.S. It's a really lovely motif!

I really like the square crop...it brings a modern edge to the image. The brown is a bit unexpected and really pops. The green is lovely too though.

I like the square layout plus the unexpectedness of the brown line work. The background in B and C just feel to me like they muddy up the piece and it isn't really necessary. PS You should totally make this a series if you haven't already!

I choose b but I think you should try b with the brown line color. Beautiful illustration!! I agree with Cindy you should illustrate a series!

I think that "B" will look great with a white border.

Leysan , I definitely prefer B. The square composition matches the shape of the Artichoke so it gives more balance as well as texture looks more natural and mild. The variant with brown ink looks very lovely as well.

I prefer A. I like the brown better than the green. I think it stands out against the white nicely and has an interesting contrast. I also like option D if it were square. I am not a fan of the tan background because it takes away from the design (at least to me it does). Im also not a fan of the rectangular shape.
