oh wow big change! I do like this layout/composition better. I did prefer the blue/brown but that's just a personal preference. Maybe though change the color of the type below the names so it will stand more?

I agree with Elaine re: the crop of the image...it seems to cut off the flow of the composition. Perhaps designate that entire space above the brown to the photo. Have you tried to place the floral graphic vertically and cropped (maybe on the right)? Or somewhere where it doesn't seem as 'fixed' if that makes sense...

Like your hawaiian theme. Wonder what it would look like with another color behind the names and in the leaves?

I agree with Deb that maybe another block of color up top might help. But I'm not really sure about cutting off the top of the head there..I think it could look better if you let the rest of the photo fill that space & see if the flower still fits there. I think the lower half of your design is beautiful & the type is working really well!

I'd like to edit myself - i remember now that this image is probably already cut off at the top. So I would try that brown again up top & no dots along the edge. & having the flowers all filled in with color, even if its white(on the brown), might help.
