The color versions reflect color palettes that were popular in the B.50s, C.60s, and D.90s. Option A is the original version with no particualr era reflected. Which do you prefer?

The colors in A feel like beautiful ocean water. I like the tones.

Option A for the water quality, but the difference in the others is the mermaid is a color. Perhaps a dark navy mermaid instead of the black in version A would be softer and still very ocean watery.

Love your illustration! A for me :) I would also love to see a version with a white border just to compare.. just to give the mermaid some framing, but just my thoughts :)

I might soften the black a bit (possibly opacity) to soften the image into the background but I love the color scheme and composition. Well Done!
