comments from Samantha:

Though Corinthians 13 is a common Biblical reading at weddings, I modernized the passage using typography.

Like the revision :) I do miss that light blue you had in the last one though...Maybe that can be the color of the green elements for a more subtle transition? I'm diggin the dark blue...

Not sure you need the border with this free flowing design. You have enough space around the main text that the eye naturally creates the container for the wedding information. What do you think? Do you like it better this way? You sense of the design is what counts.

I do like the play with type, and the use of type as image to simulate a border. Maybe even play up the border with a thin border on the interior? Or a transparency rectangle fill behind the main info? Just a thought. That might give more space/separation between the info and secondary type to allow the eye to focus. I would echo what Debb said re: the date being the emphasis vs the names. Maybe even try a different color than the other type...

Any critiques/comments would be greatly appreciated! I'm sure the typography needs work, so any input would be fantastic.

The typography is fun and I like your design approach. If I received this in the mail the last thing I would be thinking is how to improve the design. It's unique, fun, and full of love. If anything, I'd revisit the date, it becomes a big focal point, when, for me, the names are the focal point, "who is sending me this invitation? Oh, it's Sarah and Kyle!" Sorry if I went on too much. I do like your design very much.
