The idea is interesting, but it seems bit incongruent that a vintage typewriter would be typing on notebook paper. And the "Let's party" is in the same typeface, but much smaller. I think it would look better up underneath the headline. And maybe add a "!" "Let's Party" seems out of place at the bottom by the Gotham.

I love how you did the ruled paper. To be honest, i think this card uses the concept the best. I love the Gotham choice as well; I think it works perfectly with the strong horizontal lines. I think the "typewriter" font takes the card right into the realm of cliche :( I think the card would be perfectly balanced and stay fresh with only Gotham or possibly the addition of another sanserif.

I agree "Let's Party!" would look good tied in with the first line. I think it's a really great idea and is executed well.
