Is this the right way to make the text pop on the bottom in blue, and is 'happy holidays' working or unnecessary?

Hi Rose Design, love the hand drawn border. Did you place a soft gradient behind the happy holiday line? Or did you give an effect to the text? It's not easy to tell on my computer. I think the eriksons | 2015 would be ok without happy holidays.

I agree the Happy Holidays is not needed. I love the typeface you choose for the top! It goes great with the hand drawn border!

This could be a little tricky since you who knows what image people will use with your design

this is so pretty! my 2 cents is, the less text, the better, so since happy holidays is another greeting, it's not needed, because you have "let it snow." the font looks nice in blue, it stands out against the navy sweater.

Maybe make it just 2015 the eriksons and make it white like the top portion of your design so that it stands out without any effects
