This is peacful and relaxing. It has an island vibe. Beautiful colors. It would be nice fabric! I think the colbalt at the bottom of the artwork is a bit distracting and pulls the eye away from the beautiful detail.

Thanks for the feedback Courtney Crane! I will see if I can do a comparison if I remove the bit of indigo. This painting is really straight from my scanner with a little bit of tweaking from photoshop. I so appreciate it! Its my very first entry ever to any kind of contest and I am just glad to have this opportunity.

This has a nice summer vibe to me. The colors are nice and I agree with Courtney about the dark blue color at the bottom. This would also look very interesting in different hues.

I love this palette, I too am digging green right now. your color knowledge is so evident in your placement and blending- while keeping the purity. lovely, good job. and good thing it isn't 12 below zero outside, we'd both be hurting for inspiration :)

Hi Rika! Good luck you in your first participation! When I see your art I feel freshness and start to think about Cuba.))

Tropical, fun and uplifting! I always associate green with nature and health, so that is a part of the feeling too.

Relaxation and warmth! I love the translucency and subtle bleeds of the watercolor! I think the darker tones at the bottom help add a nice balance and depth. Beautiful piece!

Love to see this done on material for a summer dress

This piece reminds me of guava leaves and palm trees drenched in rain drops back home in the Philippines. It's so refreshing!
