About the Design

comments from Jody:

I wanted to create something universal yet unique, with letterforms taking the main stage. The tie and pearls represent the couple-of-honor (of course, it can also be two ties or two necklaces!), and the colors can easily be changed to reflect the mood of the party at hand.

I don't think you need to "dress up" the text.

Thank you Erin! Kerry, I think the letters would work well without being "dressed up" too, but do you think the tie and pearls are a negative?

I dig the tie and pearls. The "bride n" appears to be slightly lower than the rest of the letters but it seems too tiny a difference to be intentional. See what I mean?

Thanks Ashley! The letters are all intentionally a little out of alignment - but if it looks too slight, I'll play around with it some more!

Hi Jody. I just think the typography is strong enough that you don't need to do anything else to it. Without the pearls and tie it's a more clean, modern look. I like the irregularity of the alignment and the colors are nice too!
