comments from Jody:

Texas and Ranch themed wallpaper with a modern take on "Old West" typography. Yellow represents the Yellow Rose that we Texans are so proud of, and blue represents the river and clear summer skies, ideal for a barbecue!

Hello! Suggestions appreciated! What do you guys think of the colors, too bright?

I really like the colors. and the space around the words. What does it look like with all the icons at the top in one color? Maybe toned down?

I'd say scale them up to make them more legible and less busy rather than make them all one color. I like being able to incorporate both colors up there... and maybe make them all face one direction rather than right side up and rotated 90 degrees?

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm worried that if I enlarge the icons, they might be too similar in size to the "Sherin and Winston" text? I'll give it a shot though...

I actually really like it. I love the BBQ tools around the AND and the little initial compass at the bottom. If you're worried about it being too busy, maybe take off one or two lines of the icons? I think it's great though.

Thank you Kate, I'll experiment with removing some of the icons, good idea! :) Does anyone think the utensils around the AND are "too much"?

Everything about it ties together wonderful. You definitely have the eye for details and typography selections. Love the cute utensils!

Hey Jody, really like it but I think it needs a colored border to tie it all together.
