I'm having trouble with the balance of this design. Should I get rid of the illustrations? What doesn't fit?

I like your design the way it is! Awesome illustrations and colors. If you are still working on balance though maybe just increase the size the the banners at the top. Not the text itself just the banners so the left and right sides line up with the width of the photo, since the illustrations at the bottom line up with that same width. But it is really great just as is in my opinion.

This is great as is! Perhaps maybe make the photo smaller, because your illustrations are so cute, they need attention. I actually like the funkiness of the irregular shapes of the colored boxes!

This is super cute! My only suggestion for some more balance is to make everything a bit smaller (especially the photo) so you can have some negative space to give focus. Not sure if I'm making sense to you . . . but don't get rid of your illustrations . . . they are way too cute! Maybe another option and a poll can help.

don't get rid of the illustrations!!! i would scale back the photo and work on your white space. i'll try to explain as best as i can... but what if instead of having 3 boxes (the photo, mouse, car) you have 4?!?! you need to have rsvp info on the invite (i believe it's required per the .pdf document in the submission kit) so you could have the photo, the mouse, the car and the rsvp info! maybe that would help the overall balance too :)

Awesome illustrations and palette! And I think you have a great layout, I would just take everything and scale it down together 5-10% to leave a little white space along the borders, but that's it. Love it!
