More contrast between the background and text might be helpful. Maybe add a semi-transparent overlay banner along the top and put the text on top of this. Also, perhaps some variance in the font.

Cool tree! The brown band on the yellow-green looks sorta muddy, and the script type running over the branches is a little busy. I actually feel like the brown band takes away from what would otherwise be a wonderfully simple design.

I love the simple design of the tree, but to me the text on the bottom shouldn't be running over the design. Maybe if you moved it to the right, made it right justified, and broke it down to a few more lines of text then it would look a little more balanced.
