Cute watercolor, Kristine! I might try reversing the weights of your text so that the honoree is more prominent - maybe enlarge the name a little, too. Right now, all the lines are overpowering and it's a bit hard to read.

I like the changes! I like Jessica's suggestion, also. Maybe work on the type some more - experiment with sizes and spacing to establish a hierarchy and make it easier to read. Loving the watercolor!

I love the rattles too. Here is a thought, right now, all the black type has the same visual importance. Consider changing up some of the type to give a visual hierarchy.

Love your rattles! I think this would be stronger with all black type so that the type doesn't detract from the rattles. Also, I think a portrait orientation and no border would also complement your cool illustration better. Best of luck to you!
