About the Design

comments from Sarah:

I wanted to create a simple design that symbolized the season in a sense of imagery, rather than text. The simplified partridge in a pear tree stands boldly, while still keeping with tradition.

The idea of basic imagery complements the structure of style and type quite well. Excellent use of font and tone. Design work and photography go hand in hand. Well done.

It feels like the photo and design matches very well!! I feel like the tree is the partridge's home and that the couple is sitting on their front steps. Wonderful design!!!
