I like the simple look of this, but the date is incorrect, its April 19, not September.

Love the calendar idea and the simplicity of your layout. You've already got the date in the calendar, so shouldn't the big 19 be an 09 for the year?

I agree with Jana, the 19 should be 09. Also, I'd like to see more White to balance out the dot. My eye keeps getting drawn to the dot.

I absolutely LOVE this!!! I agree with kerry and jana on the dot though...I think you are a single dot away from having design perfection here ; ) Maybe just a boldface the small 19 in the powder blue?? Or and asterisk from the right font??

I changed the 19 to '09. And changed the small 19 to a white asterisk. What do ya'll think now? I believe the asterisk may have solved the 'my eye keeps getting drawn to the dot' issue. I did try keeping the white dot and placing a small 19 in it but it just didn't seem as 'special'.

The changes look great!

I would like to see the * be a circle around 19 instead. And, is there any way to put an apostrophe before the 09 ('09)? Other than that it looks good.

The asterisk is making me think snowflake now, but how simple to change the image to go with the various seasons... hmm... very flexible design, gives me lots of ideas. Nice job!
