Thanks for the comments! I tweaked the colors and added a stroke to the names to distinguish them more from the background. Is Minted cool with strokes on type - anyone know?? Thank you!

I love this design: the color scheme, the subtle play in terms of depth-of-field, the scalloped edges of the illustration that create such a lovely vignette, and also the way in which some elements break through into the white-space. The added stroke makes all the difference-and I love that typeface! Bravo! I almost want to get married myself, just to commision a 'save-the-date' like this!

I think for me I have a hard time with the contrast of the large amount of white space and the soft color palate of the background design, maybe a slightly darker edge around the scalloped border or something to harden that edge up and make it look like we're looking further into a secret garden?

How do I put this in my 'favorites' folder?!

Now that the names are bolder, i am totally loving it, well done.

I really like the colors in this. I think that the design is nice and unique. Something about this when I first look at it made me think that it was a bit busy...but the more I look at it the more I like it. Part of me wants the illustration to be widened a bit, but then I look again and like it just as is. Sorry to be so contradictory, not sure if I am helping at all.

I completely support the free-form thought process! I think I'll keep it as is for the moment at least - maybe the extra white space balances the business of the interior?? Something to think about for sure. Thanks!

the illustration is so so pretty. I think the names blend into the illustration too much...maybe work with a different typeface, size, or color? I like the size of the illustration. :)
