Both options are nice but I think ill go with b - seems a little less crowded.

B. I am not a fan of elements tucked into other elements, they look trapped and in A the year is too small. The year looks better in this location and at this size (or maybe a little larger).

I like the 2014 within Jolly, although it could be a smudge bigger
